Dear Friends of SSYO, Happy New Year to you all!!! We hope the holidays brought good cheer and much joy to you all. The transition into a new calendar year is always an exciting time of freshness and chances to reset, refocus, and recalibrate as needed. The staff here at SSYO definitely feel all of the above. Some of the things we’re most excited for in 2023 are: continuing to build healthy relationships with our students, partners, and community, meeting new partners, continuing to repair our facilities, getting a new paint job on our buildings, increasing our RISE Summer School numbers back to capacity, and hopefully adding to our staff in the fall in order to better serve the number of students we have now. As you can tell, we have no plans of slowing down or being content with where things are. Our hope and prayer is that we’d continue working to increase our capacity to love and serve more students/families in our community. As with any endeavor to grow or increase, much planning and organization is needed. So, we humbly ask that you all continue to pray for the SSYO Board and Staff this year. Without the prayers and support from all of you, we can’t do anything. As a matter of fact, the years we’ve grown the most have been directly tied to the years where we’ve had the most support. We greatly appreciate you all and don’t take any of your prayers, love, or support for granted. Lastly, if you know anyone else who may be interested in becoming a prayer or financial partner of SSYO, please let them know about us or connect them to us. Thank you all. We are endlessly humbled by all your generosity toward the mission of SSYO. We hope 2023 is one of growth, joy, and blessings for all of you. Sincerely, Jake Moevao
